Yakima Chief Hops completed construction of a state of the art cold storage warehouse in Belgium, in an effort to better serve the brewing community. The expansion into Europe greatly improves the company’s customer experience, including increased access to their extensive portfolio of hop products, as well as improved logistics and faster delivery times to brewers. The facility was designed with sustainability in mind, including an 1,800-panel solar array producing 750MW of electricity equating to 50% of the building’s total consumption, and various waste diversions and conservation designs.
