Yakima Chief Hops announced their Pink Boots Blend for 2022 which contains a mix of 30% Idaho Gem, 20% HBC 630, 20% Talus, 20% Triumph, and 10% Loral hop varieties. The blend is available until December 15th, 2021, providing sufficient time for brewers to prepare for the Pink Boots Collaboration Brew Day events held annually on or around International Women’s Day (early March 2022). Pink Boots Society (PBS) is an international nonprofit organization assisting, encouraging, and inspiring professional women brewers to advance their career through education. Sale of the blend is the main PBS fundraiser for their scholarship programme, donating nearly USD 3/kg for all hops sold to breweries across the USA
