Brewing has been traditionally a male dominated industry, but that is changing as more and more women are making applications to work in breweries and taprooms, according to Greenwood Breweries owner, Megan Greenwood. This trend is further seen by the expansion of the Pink Boots Society, an organization of women in the brewing industry, founded in 2007, and now with 16 chapters and 2,400 members.
