Star Pubs & Bars, the Heineken owned pub operator, announced a re-opening for half its 230 Scottish pubs with the rest remaining closed due to onerous restrictions. For the pubs that remain closed, the company is continuing rent reduction support until respective restrictions are fully lifted. By May 17th, the company will have invested some £5.7million in rent cuts to help Scottish pubs through the pandemic.
