SAB, an AB InBev company, has committed to brewing with renewable electricity by 2025.

The effort aligns to company sustainability goals and an effort to take pressure off the fragile national electricity grid. In 2021, the company biogas facilities generated 3469 MWh and its solar photovoltaic systems generated 9537 MWh.
