Russia is moving into a new phase of lower alcohol beer consumption.

ABInBev Efes, the Russian partnership between AB InBev & Efes, expects double digit growth in non-alcoholic beer sales in future years after the Covid-19 pandemic placed increased focus on healthier lifestyles. Overall non-alcoholic beer sales jumped 20% in 2020, with on-line non-alcoholic beer sales increasing 400% in Q1 over the previous year. The share of the non-alcoholic beer in the Russian market accounts for over 2%, still lower than countries like Spain (11%) or Germany (8%).
