US President Joe Biden signed an Executive Order focused on promoting competition in the American economy, and covering a wide range of businesses and activities including the wine, spirits and beer industries. The Executive Order aims to eliminate unlawful trade practices and regulations such as bottle sizes (e.g., labeling) which may unnecessarily inhibit competition as well as any patterns of consolidation in production, distribution etc.
