It appears to be the case, as indicated by several strategic moves: Uber buying Drizly to expand its alcohol home delivery business; Glovo (a Spanish start-up) striking a $100M deal with Swiss property investment firm Stoneweg to open urban distribution centres that make instant deliveries possible (small quantities of goods to be delivered to consumers within the hour); and a pan African e-commerce platform that connects sellers with consumers, called Jumia Technologies, increased its share price from as low as $2.15 in early 2020 to $59 beginning of 2021.

According to the World Economic Forum risk report, based on responses from 650 members of the Forum’s diverse leadership communities, given via the WEF Global Risks Perception Survey, environmental threats are among the greatest threats by likelihood and by impact.

How old is beer? It seems that somewhere around 4600-5000 years according to American and Egyptian archaeologists that unearthed what could be the oldest known beer factory, at Abydos, an ancient burial ground 450km south of Cairo. The factory dates back to the period of King Narmer, that ruled at the beginning of the First Dynastic Period (3150 B.C – 2613 B.C.). Archaeologists found eight huge units of 20 meters long and 2.5 meters wide. Each unit includes 40 pottery basins in two rows, that seems to have been used to heat up a mixture of grain and water to produce beer. The factory was built to offer beer for royal rituals with beers.
