Two US Senators in Maine, a Republican and an Independent, have joined forces to push for a tax relief for craft brewers and distillers, via an excise tax relief. The pair requested Congress is to act by the end of the year and view their proposal as being “an important economic lifeline to thousands of businesses across the country”.
