Lagunitas launches a non-alcohol version of its #1 seller India Pale Ale, called ‘IPNA’, as the demand continues to grow for non-alcohol beers. The team wanted to ensure the new beer tastes like beer and therefore selected a different brewing technique than the traditional alcohol removal process. In this case, by pulling the yeast during the fermentation and before alcohol develops, this process allows flavour to fully develop in the brewing process, that includes introduction of hops at four points.
