Kraft Heinz is piloting a new roof technique in US factories (Beaver Dam, WI and Holland, MI) with the installation of roofs made from recycled plastic packaging. The roof boards are 4ft by 8ft in dimension and contain 94% of post-consumer plastic and fiber. The company is monitoring the performance of such materials versus conventional building materials.
