The company worked with Toronto based machine learning company, Dessa to concoct a double dry-hopped IPA which includes mango and lactose. The process accessed publicly available data from various beer recipes, styles, and food pairing combinations to develop an initial list of 20 recipes. Following a review by the beer styles, food pairing information; the computer spit out several recipes (20 or so), which were reviewed by the company brew master to fix the final recipe.
