This is what Hybrid Air Vehicles company wants to achieve with its Airlander 10, which is a 100-passenger airship that runs on helium and electricity. The airship is capable of flying at speeds of up to 130km/h and can be airborne for five continuous days. On a 300km flight, Airlander 10 produces only 10% of the CO2 emissions than regular airplanes.
