The first 3D printed school in the campus of a university in Madagascar addresses the lack of sufficient investment in physical infrastructure, as one of the biggest barriers to education. The school was a result of the cooperation of non-profit organization Thinking Huts and architectural design agency Studio Mortazavi, using technology developed by the Finish company Hyperion Robotics. The school will use locally sourced materials for doors, roof and windows. The two companies will also teach the local community how to replicate the process to build schools in the future.
