Heineken is contacting customers to mitigate the industrial action announced by GXO Logistics employees, a service provider responsible for 40% of beer deliveries to the UK’s pubs and restaurants. The sought-after mitigation actions including ordering extra product in advance, along with alternative delivery solutions. The industrial action is intended to take place on August 24th with an overtime ban and work from August 24th to November 15th.
