Heineken is launching Dos Equis Ranch Water Hard Seltzer, to be on the shelves by mid-April. The product, with 4.5% abv and 180 calories, will be sold as single and 12 packs. Further crowding of the hard seltzer shelf space will result.
Heineken’s CEO believes EU on-premise activity will not return to pre-pandemic levels and potentially 10-15% could disappear more permanently. The forecast includes pre-pandemic operating margins will not be attained until 2023.
