European barley trading continues at a heavy pace as the harvest is nearing completion. The French port of Rouen sees barley shipments increasing with vessels destined for China. Turkey’s state backed grain importer (TMO) also continued, with a purchase of 515k tons of imported feed barley for shipment between Sept 1st and Sept 15th. These imports are on top of Turkey’s purchase of another 270k tons of feed barley locally. Meanwhile, North Cyprus bought 30k tons of feed barley during mid-August.
