Fruit beers are on the rise as craft brewer offerings look more and more like a menu at a smoothie bar. More sweet and tangy fruits are finding their way into beers, from pineapple to passionfruit. App based craft beer retailer, Travour, has seen an explosion in fruited styles in the last 12 months, with nearly 20% of all products they offered in 2021 being heavily fruited vs 10% the previous year.
