Fresh hops grown in New Zealand

Fresh hops grown in New Zealand could not get any fresher than being picked, prepped, packed and sent to brewers, all within a few hours. Green hops can be secured by brewers every year, to a maximum of 100 kilograms per customer, through the New Zealand Hops’ Green Hops programme. The hops are harvested straight from the bine, with no drying and available for fresh brewing immediately which creates fresh hop beers that are marketed seasonally for just a few months each year.
