Food and beverage innovation trends in 2021.

Talking to consumers, Food Dive identified the following five trends to fuel food and beverage innovation in 2021: 1./ demand for health and immunity products; 2./ tech enabled transparency for consumers; 3./ next generation of plant based options; 4./ demand for new flavours to target consumers interested in new and novel tastes; and 5./ gene editing from crops to provide consumers with food with far more interesting traits (tastier, fresher etc.).
