CBH Group Australia has teamed up with Oldendorff Carriers Gmbh & Co KG to conduct the first biofuel trial on a grain vessel departing Australia. The biofuel is supplied by BP and contains about 15% less GHG emissions. The ship was loaded with 30k tons sustainably certified malting barley, destined for Intermalt in Vietnam (Intermalt’s largest brewing customer is Heineken).
