A farm in Wales, Dark Farms, is growing hops indoors, using a hydroponic growing method usually found in crops such as salad leaves and herbs. Dark Farm is believed to be the first indoor hop yard in the whole of the UK with a strategy to prove the benefits of hydroponics can revolutionize hop farming. The company offers a quarterly hop subscription to homebrewers.
