Illinois (US) craft brewers have been pushing for passage of the Brewers Economic and
Equity Relief Act, or BEER Act, which would enable permanent home deliveries and
direct-to-consumer shipping. However, the current bill being put forth that to the
Illinois Governor’s desk, excludes these critical provisions. The result is a constrained
market reach for struggling craft brewers.
