Constellation Brands’ CEO, Bill Newlands, expects slower growth for hard seltzers to continue in the future as the boom for these beverages faded in recent months.

For the once sizzling category, a similar slowing trend is being observed by other brewers, including Boston Beer one of the Top 2 seltzer businesses in the USA. Recently Boston Beer announced a need to destroy out-of-date seltzer product because of sales for the Truly hard seltzer brand failing to meet volume targets.
