Companies, governments, and analysts are calculating the needed investment to build enough electric chargers to support the development and deployment of an increasing number of Electric Vehicles (EV)

An early estimate puts the investment at $600B by 2040, to support a ratio of 30% of EVs being sold in total from all sold vehicles by 2030. To reach a net carbon zero position by 2050, the required investment is an estimated $1.6T. This explains why stakeholders are cooperating, in bi-lateral and tri-lateral working groups, to find and design solutions for an EV-enabled future.
