Boortmalt’s UK subsidiary Pauls Malt are investing £12M in its UK plant in Buckie, to ramp up capacity by 50% to support growing demand for malt in Scottish whisky distilling and brewing. The increased capacity will reach 90,000 tons per year and is planned to be commissioned by the end of 2021.
