Boortmalt announced the signing of an agreement for the supply of carbon-neutral heat to its Antwerp facility, the largest maltings in the world. With this agreement, the company joined forces with Antwerp North Heating network to cover 60% of the site’s heat requirements and in the process eliminates the equivalent annual gas consumption of 10,000 households. The agreement also enables homes in the city of Antwerp to be connected to the network.
