Both countries are furthering new hygiene measures to prevent the Covid-19 spread and avoid contact with truck drivers (e.g., loading by own employees, handing of documents via glass windows). As regards logistics capacities, Germany seems to be confronted with shortages for both air and sea freight, while the UK seems to be short of airfreight capacity, with ocean and road being faced with higher prices.
