Corona lockdowns brought new activities to people including home entertainment and house renovations but also backyard brewing. To award the great effort by a large group of home brewers, a home brewing contest was organized and finalists came from all corners of Australia. Beer styles included: Munich-style Dunkel; Lime & Coconut Kolsch; Bier mit Zitrone; Kolsch dry-hopped with lemon myrtle; Peach Kölsch; Passionfruit Weizenbier; Pilsner; Helles; New England IPA; Helles Bock; Oztoberfest, German Helles; and Bavarian Weissbier.
