The UK Chancellor of the Exchequer announced changes in alcohol taxes which increases alcohol duties on an increasing scale, starting in 2023. Craft brewers are concerned about smaller volume beer styles, like imperial stouts and double IPAs will become uneconomically under the new tax plan plans which penalizes higher alcohol containing (abv) beer.
