AB InBev announced a number of sustainable efforts: low carbon cans, produced in cooperation with Rio Tinto and released in the coming months; development of 1000 electrical trucks and vans, in cooperation with Fabrica Nacional de Mobilidades, on the road by 2023; CDP recognized ABInBev as 2020 Supplier Engagement Leader, for the work done in cooperation with its suppliers to tackle climate change.

AB InBev replaced its $9bn revolving credit facility with a new $10.1bn sustainability linked credit facility. This is the first time such a credit facility was utilized by the beverage industry and incorporates a pricing structure that incentives improvements in four areas that are linked to the company 2025 sustainability goals: water efficiencies in breweries, increasing recycled PET content, increased renewable electricity sources, and reduced GHG emissions.
