AB InBev striving to become net carbon zero

AB InBev stated an ambition to become net carbon zero by 2040, by starting with plans to create net-zero operations for five major European breweries by 2028 reducing carbon emissions by 110,740 tons, equivalent to the annual emission from 35,000 cars. The initial earmarked sites are Magor and Samlesbury in the UK, Leuven and Jupille in Belgium, Bremen in Germany. The company plans to achieve this ambition by primarily relying on two key strategies, switching to green fuel sources, and improving energy efficiency.
