AB InBev doubles down on its commitments to recycling barley protein from the brewing process for use in plant-based products like protein shakes and bars, breads, and barley milks. The company is planning construction in Belgium of a second facility (first was built in St. Louis, USA) capable to separate fiber and protein, creating a high-quality end product without carbohydrates and a low carbon footprint.
