Alcohol Justice, an alcohol industry watchdog agency based in California, submitted an official letter asking California Attorney General, to investigate AB InBev takeover of/ merger with Ace Beverage. Ace Beverage is one of the largest independent distributors in the US, based in California, distributing primarily products from AB InBev and Constellation Brands (Corona/ Modelo). According to the letter, if approved, the new company would control 85% of the wholesale market in California.
