A new Coalition for Cannabis Policy, Education and Regulation was launched in the USA in early March 2021 and formed by national corporations including tobacco and alcohol firms, with the aim of influencing policy and potentially shaping the first federal cannabis regulations. The Coalition areas include public safety concerns, youth prevention, minority access to the industry, and national standards on product testing and pesticides.
