A 38-year-old single malt scotch whiskey

A Diageo owned distillery, Singleton of Glen Old distillery, located in the Highland whisky region of Scotland, released a 38-year-old whiskey with the longest secondary maturation process in Singleton’s history at 26 years. Maureen Robinson, Diageo Master of Malts, discovered, 26 years ago, a 12-year old single malt whisky that she put through a second maturation process. This whisky is drawn from just 8 casks and only 1,689 bottles are available worldwide and available globally for £2,100 ($2,800 USD) per bottle.
