The New York State Craft beer competition announced its winners. The main winners of the competition were Grimm Artisanal Ale from Brooklyn as the top brewery in the state with eight medals and winning 5 of the 25 categories and Eli Fish Brewery with its Heavy Maple beer as the Governor’s Cup best beer in the state and with two gold medals for its Tiga Queen beer (an India pale ale using 2020 Pink Boots Society hop blend). The competition had 1,143 beers entry from 182 breweries across 25 categories, with hoppy beers continuing to drive the competition (325 or 28% of the 1,143 beers).
