Ukrainian brewery Pravda launch a fundraising campaign by opening its Victory Beer Series to the world. The brewery released its most popular beers and visuals to use for packaging and collaborated with brewers from around the world to produce special beer recipes with the profits donated to the Ukrainian army via Pravda.

Craft Brewers Conference returns

The Brewers Association’s (BA) largest industry event, The Craft Brewers Conference (CBC), returns with an in-person event taking place May 2-5 in the Minneapolis Convention Centre in Minnesota. The CBC also features the World Beer Cup, a biennial global competition that the BA refers to as the ‘the Olympics of beer’.

Free beers for nature help

Over twenty Tennessee craft brewers are participating in a statewide beautification and anti-litter effort, called the ‘Pick-up for a Pint’ campaign. The idea was launched by Nashville-based Jackapole Brewing Company and Turnip Green Creative Reuse and reward cleanup participants with free beer (afterwards).

Crowdfunding helps Queensland craft brewery

Queensland craft brewery Black Hops raised $2.2M in equity through a crowdfunding campaign which closed in less than 24 hours. This is the fastest-ever equity crowdfunding round to top $2M. The company was founded in 2014, when it struck a chord with an eggnog stout and from there the brewer has grown steadily.

2022 Arizona beer festival returns

The Arizona Strong Beer Festival returns with 100 breweries participating on February 19th at a complex located near the Phoenix Mesa Gateway airport. Tickets are available on-line, with each ticket providing 30 great tasting beer experiences.
