Heineken’s latest sustainable report

Heineken’s latest sustainable report outlined a number of successes: 51% reduction in carbon emissions across its breweries since 2008; 22% renewable energy usage in production facilities; reduced average carbon emissions from fridges by over 55% vs 2010; 33% decrease in water consumption since 2008; and 58% of raw agricultural materials sourced sustainably.

Molson Coors to expand its cans sourcing to combat shortage.

Molson Coors is working closely with suppliers to source additional cans from all around the world in order to overcome the can shortage in the US. The efforts are covering four continents and include the construction of new can production lines.

Molson Coors 2020 sales hit by on-trade pandemic related restrictions.

Molson Coors 2020 sales volumes decreased by -8.9% mainly because of Covid-19 restrictions and lockdowns that strongly impacted on-trade sales as well as coronavirus related costs. The volume results were less positive for the European operations (-17.9%) than in North America (-6.0%), making a recovery in 2021 even more challenging.
